Students will gain a deeper understanding of neuropsychology, neurology, and rehabilitation careers, including graduate training, specializations, and opportunities in medical and athletic settings.
Dr. Sarah Lahey, PhD – Neuropsychologist
Topic: Concussion and Functional Brain Disruption
Dr. Lahey is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist with specialized training in lifespan neuropsychology and concussion management. Neuropsychology focuses on how brain functioning relates to behavior, cognition, and emotional processes. (Wikipedia)
Dr. Anissa Maffett, PhD – Clinical Neuropsychologist
Topic: Stroke and Behavioral Change
Dr. Maffett specializes in neurorehabilitation following brain injury and focuses on cognitive recovery and long-term functional outcomes after neurological conditions.
Dr. Syed Asad, MD – Neurologist
Topic: Targeting Mood Circuits with TMS
